Romantic Get Away Ideas on a budget?

Anyone have any ideas for a weekend getaway that won't break the bank? Favorite romantic (affordable) cabins? Beach houses? Little known, out of the way hotels?

I often see that people are viewing the threads, but not participating, which is fine... but I suspect that there are some great opinions and ideas out there that we are missing out on... so, I'd love to know what you all think about some relevant and not so relevant topics...

So, first question.

Would you ever date someone who confessed they had cheated in the past?

Do you think, once a cheater always a cheater?

Do people deserve a 2nd chance, no matter what they've done?

Have you ever been on one side of this scenrio? Or both?

Are we really losing this forum?

How much money is needed to keep this up and running? I've seen different figures and the latest was $100 by next week? Or something like that?
What happens if it goes down- is it easily recoverable?
What are the best (simplest) ways to donate to the site and to the group?
(i.e. paypal, checks, cash, etc)

Do you have any "fundraisers" happening? Would you like some?

I know emails went out awhile back asking about this stuff- I'm sorry to show up so late in the game asking... but I'm willing to help if I can....

hi ladies,

has anyone thought about or want to have a christmas party/get together, or even a new years eve party?

i know some of u don't like loud music or drinking and stuff, and ladies like pat and nancy would love a get together at there house at some time, there more for playing cards and chatting, (speak up pat n nancy), we often hold wii nights at my house with our friends (its soooo much fun lol) but my house is tiny and partying in the garden in winter isn't going to go down well lol.

so ladies think it over, i have loads of music (used to be a dj) i have time, energy and imagination.

the reason i'm pushing this meet up ladies thing is were going to lose this notice board in about 2 weeks (unless we can raise $100) its such a great way of contact. and this is a huge town, with loads of lovely gay women in, who like me, just like mixing gay, but hardly anything is going on! i came to america to meet lovely people, but ur all hiding? lol

is this ok for message board, or has it become a blog? (must get into blogging)

Any Natural treatments for Menopause out there?

My partner is struggling through menopause and for a myriad of reasons is trying to avoid meds. Anyone out there have any homeopathic or natural treatment for the hotflashes and moodswings? She has taken up regular excercise, which helps some, but the fatigue and crazy roller coaster emotions is really difficult for her. We've researched and tried different things, but would love to know if there is anything out there that has actually worked for anyone?

i've just seen that there is a comedy night at northern lights theatre on 7th nov, not sure how good or bad it will be, but i'm up for a night of laughing.

were going at 9.30pm, but there is one at 7pm

i have called and left a message to find out if we can buy tickets in advance and how many it holds and all that jazz, don't want to get there and find its full lol. u can check it out on their web site, see if the comedians are to ur liking, i don't know what there like, but i'm still going.

my daughter has been in a lesbien relationship for a little over a yr and she resontly move to tinian(by guam) with her partner, but now there has been some issue that have came about and she and my grandkids are in need to come back to oregon

To all those who participated in Carrie's last fundraiser, I'm pleased to tell you that her treatment is working! For those who haven't had the honor to meet Carrie, please join friends and family this Sunday at 'The Half Penny' for a life saving cause and effort - Carrie's next fundraiser in support of her 3rd treatment down in Houston.

Carrie's sister Lisa (family) works with my sister Val at SAIF Corporation. Please help her pass the word on to anyone in our community that I may have forgotten.
