Hi,
I am new to Salem and looking tomorrow and possibly Tuesday morning for a clean, quiet, (decent/good/OK neighborhood, really) small home/condo/other to rent for a year (at least). I will be starting a position early next week, so have confirmation of that. If it was one very similar person, I might consider a house share . . . but would prefer the privacy of a separate place.
I am mature (and have been a home owner for 3 decades, guess that gives my age away -whoops  , but changed careers, wanted to come to the NW . . .) extremely clean (take your shoes off at the door sort), gardener, non smoker, quiet gal, so if you have thought about renting or know of something -- please contact me ASAP, as I'm hoping to settle it all in the next two days. Ideally, small, but two bedrooms -- flexible on this with more or less, depending on the place.
I do have a dog, and so would really like a fenced yard, as he's a "throw whatever for forever for me" type of dog. He's older, calm in the house, and I usually have a dog walker if I cannot come home at lunch.
And, once all of this is settled, and I have a couple of weeks on the job (or less), I hope to join in some of the group's activities.
